A couple of days ago we took a quick day trip to Phoenix to explore the Desert Botanical Garden.

It was a very surreal moment walking around with Emiliana since the last time we went to the garden was for our Babymoon when I was very pregnant with her. It was such a fun day despite the blistering heat. We walked as much as we could with Emiliana but with the heat and all the walking, she was pretty tired after a couple of hours. 

Afterward we went to The Stand for burgers and shakes which is another place we went to during our babymoon and it was just as good as we remembered it. It was a wonderful day spent as a family, enjoying each others company, seeing our little girl explore and be marveled by everything, and most importantly making memories! If you are ever in the Phoenix area on the second Tuesday of the month, it’s the perfect day to visit the garden since it’s FREE.
