My Favorite Discoveries from April to June

It was an interesting couple of months but I was still able to find some new favorite things!

Clothing: DENIZEN bermuda shorts, I got these from Target after realizing I didn’t have any clothes for the hotter weather. They are perfect; good length, stretchy, and cute! I got a darker wash and a lighter wash both are very nice and great quality.

Beauty: First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser, I talked about wanting to try this out during the Sephora sale. I did end up getting it and I am in love, it is such a strong exfoliator! My skin feels amazing, and I love that I only need to use it once or twice a week and it still works wonders. My bumps have reduced drastically and I definitely plan on repurchasing this!

Fragrance: Cactus blossom, a springtime go-to of mine! It’s floral, fresh, and sweet all at the same time.

Baby: Baby Einstein walker; we got Emiliana this walker when the shelter in place started to give her an outlet for her energy. She struggled at first but is now a professional at getting around. Favorite of mine and hers!

Book: Most likely by Sarah Watson, I read this one after my little sister recommended it to me and I was very entertained by it. It’s a YA book that tells the story of 4 high school best friends in their senior year as they take on life, school, and relationships. One of them becomes the first female President of the United States, that’s how the book opens but it doesn’t tell you which one until almost the very end, part of the fun of the book is trying to figure out which girl it is.

Show: I have two shows this time, first is The Good Place. I watched this one with Dylan and we both loved it! We still need to watch the latest season but it’s not on Netflix yet so we are waiting patiently for that to come out. This show was so good, I was so entertained and laughed out loud multiple times. I love everything about this show, and Janet is my favorite character. If you haven’t seen it, YOU NEED TO!

My other show is Gossip Girl. I watched this on my own, I remember people talking about this show when it first came out but I never watched it, I finally gave it a try and I was hooked. I loved that you never really know who Gossip Girl is until the end and all the crazy things that everyone in the show goes through.

Movie: Onward, luck for us that Disney decided to release this movie on Disney+ since we didn’t get a chance to see it before the shelter in place started. It was such a cute, feel-good movie. The message was sweet and the animation was really good. If you haven’t seen it yet you really should!

Music: Spanish Road Trip Playlist on Spotify, this one has some really good upbeat Spanish songs and it’s always a good listen when I’m driving in the car.

Instagram account: @Angelarosehome, I found her on Instagram when she was doing her brick wall in her living room, which turned out so good its like a white puffy cloud. Since then she’s done her bathroom and she currently working on a built-in bunk bed. I love her motto, “stop pinning and start doing”. She is super entertaining and really informative, makes me excited to do home projects in my future house!

Video game: Animal Crossing New Horizon, now I am not an avid video game player. If I’m being 100% honest I play video games maybe once a week for like 30 minutes and it’s usually something like Mario Party or Mario Kart but Dylan bought me ACNH when the shelter in place started and I check into my island almost every day! It is such a peaceful game. I like getting to design my island and getting the cutest villagers to live on my island.

Tell me in the comments below what your favorite things have been, I’d love to know!
