One of my goals for this year is to do more of what I love and to expand my capabilities. At the top of the list is sewing! My #makenine2021 list is everything I would like to make before the year is over.
I found my love for sewing in my last year of college when I had finished all my main courses and still needed credits to graduate. I ended up signing up for a beginners sewing class among some other electives. Sewing really lit a spark in me and the next semester I took even more sewing classes the next semester. I’ve made a couple of things since graduating, but I want to make a more conscious effort to use my sewing machine and grow my skills.
In order to do so, I am joining the #makenine2021 challenge. The designs below are everything I want to make this year. A few of these are just clothes that I found that I want to try to recreate, most are existing patterns that I like but plan to alter to fit my personal style a little better.

I am excited to get back into sewing, expanding my skills, and growing my closet! My goal is to finish all these and maybe a few more before the year ends. Which design do you like most, let me know in the comments below!
