Let the Adventure Begin

Today I turn 25, I have spent the last month working on creating my perfect 30 before 30 list! Basically, it is my “bucket list” of 30 things I would like to do by the time I turn 30. Some are a little more far-fetched (like dream trips to far away lands) while others can be more easily accomplished (like reading books). Since today is my birthday, that gives me exactly 5 years to do 30 things I have always dreamed of doing before I turn 30!

* They are in no particular order*

  1. Take Dylan (maybe a baby) to Disney World
  2. Go on a long cruise to somewhere new
  3. Visit Hawaii
  4. Go to New York during Christmas/New Year time
  5. Have a baby
  6. Go to Europe, especially Switzerland
  7. Ride a hot air balloon
  8. Swim with dolphins
  9. Go whale watching in Alaska
  10. Read at least 30 books
  11. See the Northern Lights
  12. See the Mona Lisa at the Louvre
  13. Buy a house
  14. Lose 50 pounds and keep it off
  15. Start and keep a blog
  16. Buy a brand new car
  17. Try scuba diving
  18. Start my own business (baking/sewing)
  19. Complete a 365 project
  20. New Orleans during Mardi Gras
  21. Go to a tulip festival and have a photo session
  22. Hold our own Christmas, family is invited of course
  23. Host and cook a full Thanksgiving meal
  24. Build the perfect wardrobe (my own style, that is both comfortable and stylish)
  25. Try to go grow a garden and keep it alive long enough that it gives fruit.
  26. Have a full spa day
  27. Participate in a spartan or similar race
  28. Get good at yoga so I can do the crazy poses that are always on Instagram
  29. Learn a new language fluently
  30. Get my dream dog and name it Chewbacca

I’ll be documenting the whole adventure here, so don’t miss out! I am excited to start making my way through the list! Let’s see how many I can get before 30 comes around. 5 years seems like a long time, but you know what they say, “time flies when you’re having fun”.
